Open Data Database (ODD): Terms of use
1. Restrictions: The data are available without restrictions, for not-for-profit purposes;
2. Confidentiality: In accordance with data protection regulations in Bulgaria, only anonymous data are available to users. Before depositing data, OSI research team undertooke the necessary measures to ensure anonymity of the data files.
3. Citation requirements: The Open Society Institute – Sofia (OSI-S) requests that references to ODD should use a form of words as indicated into the info file of each survey. To ensure that such source attributions are captured for social science bibliographic utilities, citations must appear in the footnotes or in the reference section of publications.
4. Disclaimer: The OSI-S and the OSI research team bear no responsibility for the uses of the ODD, or for interpretations, or inferences based on these uses. The OSI-S and the OSI research team accept no liability for indirect, consequential or incidental damages or losses arising from use of ODD, or from the unavailability of, or break in access to the service for whatever reason.
5. Information request: To provide funding institutions with essential information about the use of ODD, users are required to register bibliographic citations of all forms of publications referring to ODD by sending an e-mail to opendata@osi.bg.
